ITS FORMS

Cocoa comes in different forms, each with its own texture, intensity and way of expressing the richness of the fruit.

Grano de cacao

The whole cacao bean represents cacao in its purest and most original form. It retains the fruit's intensity, its direct character, and its most essential dimension. It can be enjoyed on its own as a snack or incorporated into recipes to add texture, depth, and an authentic aromatic nuance. It's an ideal way to experience cacao without embellishment, almost like hearing its voice directly.

Cacao nibs

Cacao nibs are pieces of the heart of the cacao bean, roasted and chopped. They are pure cacao, with no added sugars or industrial processing, and have a crunchy texture and an intense flavor that works well in both sweet and savory dishes. They can be enjoyed as a snack, added to yogurts, smoothies, desserts, or baked goods, and can also be combined with nuts or honey for a more well-rounded flavor.

Cocoa husk

The husk is one of the most delicate expressions of cacao. Transformed into an infusion, it offers an aromatic, light, and enveloping beverage with its own unique character. At Xokoalt, we use it to create an organic and fair trade infusion, designed for those seeking a more subtle experience, yet one equally connected to the origin and the plant.
